A Belgium based e-commerce company, selling sustainable and ethical brands to its customers across Europe.
They commissioned us to design a distinctive and easy to use shopping experience using their new branding and refining and building it out to be optimised for web. As part of this, we continued to build out more branded components, including bespoke icons and illustrations.
We designed their new complex design system from the ground up, covering all journeys of e-commerce, including marketing, membership conversion, shopping, basket and checkouts. With the MVP now live and being enjoyed by their customers, we continue to support them with new and alternative features for user testing.
Alongside this continued improvement, we are currently working on a React Native App set for release in the New Year.
A brochure that better represents the quality product and service that Chamber Furniture offers its customers.
As part of the a wider marketing campaign and continued relationship with Chamber Furniture, we were asked to produce a brochure which showcased the beautifully crafted furniture that they produce in their on-site workshop.
Using our earlier conceived brand statement “Design, innovation and craftsmanship in every detail” as our theme, we produced a brochure that reflected that statment in every aspect.
Gold foil lines inspired by the logo, feature on the wrap-around cover. The creative layouts reflect the innovation of the brand, whilst the bold copy of the section introductions pull out key details of each project.
The black and white photography taken by our in-house photographer shows off the craftsmanship that the Chamber Furniture team put into every piece of furniture made. Click here for some more examples of photography taken both behind the scenes and of their finished interiors.
Bold, impactful and contemporary Photography taken for the brand targeted at a young creative audience.
We were directd by Sofas and Stuff to work up a strategy to promote a new sub-brand aimed at a aesthetically discerning younger audience. With a lower price point than their main range and an trend-lead mid-century influence, these images needed to be exciting and fresh.
Working with the talented stylist Kate French , we came up with the idea of working with bold backgrounds and coloured blocks, as well as black frames and striking fabrics to bring standout and a more playful feel to these images.
Daylight inspired lighting and the help of some busy set builders helped us achieve this look out a studio space in Hackney.
Brand strategy including copywriting, web design, illustration and print design
We were approached by the founders of the Devsy brand, a company that connects businesses to developers, to give their business an identity which was visually unique and would attract them new custom.
Drawing a set of ‘laid back’ looking characters, we used these to represent the core company offerings and play on the overall theme we established for the brand ‘Devsy – development made easy’.
We worked with Devsy to ensure every aspect of their marketing was aligned, from initial branding, through to web design and print design. The relationship continues with Devsy using our design team to provide that service to their customers.
Lifestyle imagery for an establishing brand who wanted a selection of images to promote their latest range on their website.
Ruskin London, who pride themselves in the production of honest, well made bags using traditional methods, were in the early stages in establishing their brand, when they approached us to organise a photoshoot to bring some lifestyle feel to their new website, which had previously featured mainly studio shoot product.
Organising the photoshoot to take place locally to keep costs down, Guildford town became the backdrop for a ‘street-style’ shoot. With the help of a fashion stylist, we photographed the core range on a male a female model to bring variety and kept shots bright and product focused to bringing a real-world feel. What luck we had with the weather in early spring!
With a deep love of classic cars in the studio, we jumped at the opportunity to photograph this beautiful car and produce a book in its honor.
The original supercar
Quite a statement, but one considered by ‘those who know’to be a true one.
We were offered the opportunity to shoot this beautiful example of a Lamborghini Miura in a dedicated car studio for the day. With the help of the experienced car photographer, Oli Tennant, we directed this shoot with the aim of capturing this car in all of its bright orange glory.
Focusing on lighting the car to accentuate these wonderful 60’s, hand-crafted curves, we managed to capture a selection of images which we believed, used graphically, together with some strong accompanying typography, would make an interesting little book on the rich history of this car.
Famous for its mid-century simplicity, Helvetica seemed a fitting font choice for this project. Used boldly with the (Pantone 021 – a great match!) orange colour of the car, this duotone book turned into a lovely little studio keepsake to celebrate a 60’s icon!
